Drawn to Stitch

A research project Christine studied whilst at the Royal College of Art looked at computers as a tool for drawing and how this can translate into imagery and textiles. The exhibition looks at drawing the body, using both digital imagery and stitched drawings. Christine works directly from the subject taking her sewing maching into the life drawing studio, using a free hand foot straight onto the fabric, showing a great confidence in her stitched line.
