Open Studios Launch

Jersey Arts Trust is delighted to welcome back Open Studios, the island’s biggest annual showcase for visual artists, for its third year. The event is sponsored by HSBC and with the support of BDO Alto and States of Jersey Education, Sport & Culture. Taking place throughout the month of June, it will see the island’s artists open their gallery doors to the public and kicks off with a week-long exhibition of over 40 Jersey artists' work at Windward House in St Helier.

Open Studios also coincides with the launch of the ARTISTS DIRECTORY. The 128-page A6 booklet is a comprehensive guide to local artists and their services, and has been beautifully put together by Ben Hickinbottom. 10,000 will be distributed throughout the island's galleries and tourist locations and are entirely FREE! The booklet is accompanied by the Studio Networks website which also features comprehensive information on the island's artists and galleries, and can be found at www.jerseystudionetwork.info

Open Studios will run throughout the month of June and members of the public are invited to visit the numerous studios throughout Jersey where artwork can be viewed and purchased. Some of the studios include the Harbour Gallery, Westmount Studios and Jersey Oak in Grouville.

THE EXHIBITION CONTINUES FROM JUNE 3RD-4TH AND 7TH-11TH AND IS FREE ENTRY.
