In Transit

'In Transit' is  a collection of printed textile designs by Highlands College Artist in Residence, Sarah Pike.

Sara's work explores concepts of a physical journey of discovery through the investigation of different cultures - people and places and the secrets and stories they hold; and brings images of warm tropical nights and exotic flowers fused with a mixture of ethnic and traditional patterns to mind. It is about the forces of nature and maintaining an awareness and knowledge of the past.
